We’re looking for a Senior Residential Childcare Worker to join a nurturing, trauma-informed children’s home where every child is given the chance to thrive, grow, and feel truly valued.

You’ll be part of a dedicated team providing structured, compassionate care for children affected by trauma. • Leading by example and supporting staff to deliver exceptional care.

  • Encouraging skill development, problem-solving, and life skills.

  • Maintaining high safeguarding and quality standards.

  • Supervising staff and overseeing key working responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a senior role within children’s residential care.

  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice.

  • Excellent safeguarding knowledge.

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team.

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) essential.

What’s On Offer:

  • Competitive salary + sleep-in payments.

  • Generous annual leave (24 days + bank holidays, rising with service).

  • Ongoing training, supervision, and career development.

  • Pension scheme, healthcare cash plan & life insurance.

  • Employee referral bonus scheme.

If you’re ready to bring your passion, dedication, and leadership skills to a home where children feel safe, respected, and inspired, we’d love to hear from you.
