Full Stack Senior Developer – Norwich

Salary: £50-60,000 + benefits
Location: Hybrid - 4 days onsite

The Role

A Senior / Lead Developer position combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership.

You’ll design and build scalable applications, influence architecture, and mentor engineers, working closely with product, QA, and DevOps to deliver robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance applications
  • Define and promote best practices across architecture and coding standards
  • Build end-to-end features across frontend and backend systems
  • Develop modern web applications using React / Next.js
  • Build backend services using Node.js and/or .NET (C#)
  • Design and implement APIs (RESTful and GraphQL)
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Ensure strong test coverage through unit and integration testing
  • Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and proof-of-concepts
  • Mentor and support engineers across the team

Technical Environment

  • React, Next.js
  • Node.js, .NET (C#)
  • JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
  • SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
  • RESTful APIs, GraphQL
  • Jest or similar testing frameworks
  • AWS / Azure, CI/CD pipelines

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience as a Senior or Lead Developer
  • Proven ability to build scalable, data-driven applications
  • Experience across frontend and backend technologies
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and modern architectures
  • Experience mentoring or leading engineers
