Senior Early Years Practitioner

IMH Recruitment are seeking experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join our client’s Family Hub childcare settings in Barnsley.

Candidates must have relevant experience working with children aged 0–5, provide references, and hold a DBS compliant with Ofsted regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise day-to-day early years provision.
• Plan and deliver play and educational activities, observing and assessing children’s progress.
• Supervise children during play and mealtimes, supporting personal care and independence.
• Support staff development and manage workloads.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment.
• Build partnerships with parents/carers and external agencies.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted regulations.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Experience in childcare and supervising staff.
• Enhanced DBS is required
• Driving licence is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of child development, early years curriculum, and safeguarding.
• Strong communication, organisation, and IT skills.

Hours & Pay:

• Monday–Friday, 8:15am–4:15pm
• £18.35 per hour, weekly pay via agency!
