Senior Electrical Engineer

London / Hybrid

We're working with a fast-growing building services consultancy that's doing things differently.

Established by industry professionals who wanted to strip away unnecessary complexity, this business has quickly built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality MEP design, commissioning and operational support across commercial workplaces, data centres, aviation, residential and large-scale fit-out projects. Despite their growth, they've kept a genuinely collaborative and down-to-earth culture where people are trusted, supported and encouraged to develop.

They're now looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing London team.

This is an opportunity to join a modern consultancy where you'll have real input into projects, close collaboration with senior leadership, and the chance to help shape the future of a business still early in its growth journey.

Projects include:

  • Commercial fit-outs
  • Data centres
  • Residential developments
  • Aviation and infrastructure projects
  • Decarbonisation and sustainable design schemes

You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients and contractors, taking ownership of designs while mentoring junior engineers and supporting project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver electrical design across RIBA stages
  • Produce calculations, specifications and technical drawings
  • Lead coordination with internal and external design teams
  • Attend client and site meetings
  • Support commissioning, witnessing and handover activities
  • Mentor junior engineers and graduates
  • Contribute to technical quality and project delivery standards

What They're Looking For

  • Experience within building services consultancy
  • Strong electrical design background across commercial projects
  • Proficiency with industry software and design standards
  • Knowledge of lighting, small power, LV distribution and associated systems
  • Ability to manage projects and communicate confidently with clients
  • Ideally working toward or already Chartered

Expect:

  • A relaxed, collaborative culture
  • Regular socials, team events and company activities
  • Clear progression opportunities as the business continues to grow
  • Exposure to major, high-profile projects
  • Hybrid flexibility
  • A supportive team that values ideas and initiative

The business has grown rapidly over the last five years and now has a team of around 80+ people across the UK, with a strong focus on development, collaboration and long-term growth.
