Senior Electrical Project Manager (HV) – Power Division

A growing telecoms and infrastructure contractor (£30m turnover) is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead a newly established Power Division delivering HV projects across the UK.

The Role

  • Lead HV projects up to 132kV (substations, grid upgrades, distribution)
  • Manage projects end-to-end from client engagement through to delivery
  • Act as the main client interface (utilities, data centres, Tier 1 contractors)
  • Build and grow the division, overseeing teams as projects scale
  • Ensure delivery is safe, on time, and within budget

The Company

  • Established telecoms contractor expanding into power & data centre infrastructure
  • 35 staff with 250–300 operatives nationwide
  • Strong growth plans to establish as a Tier 2 provider and beyond

Requirements

  • Experience managing HV projects up to 132kV
  • Background in substations, grid connections, or utilities
  • Strong client-facing and leadership skills
  • Able to manage national projects and multiple stakeholders
