Based in Bedfordshire but with the possibility of working at one of the firms’ other offices in Northamptonshire or Cambridgeshire, this is an excellent opportunity for a Lawyer to utilise their Employment skills within a busy team. You will have a client-focused approach and handle a wide range of employment matters.
Responsibilities of the Senior Employment Lawyer:
- Handling a wide caseload of employment matters
- Liaising with clients
- TUPE
- Tribunals and appeals
- Advising on employment contracts
- Disciplinary matters
- Trade union matters
- Whistleblowing and grievances
- Qualified Barrister, Solicitor or Legal Executives with a minimum of 1 years’ PQE
- Technical proficiency in employment matters
- Outstanding client care skills
- Strives for high standards in their work
- Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- A strong communicator able to explain matters in clear, accessible language
- Personable and professional
