Role: Senior Associate / Managing Associate – Employment
Location: Leicester / Nottingham / Birmingham
Salary: £90,000 to £120,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on a diverse client base ranging from SMEs to PLCs on a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including disciplinary and grievance issues, unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE, restructures, redundancy and strategic HR advisory work.
- Manage a varied caseload while delivering commercially focused, pragmatic and cost-effective employment law advice to both businesses and senior executives.
- Play an active role in the continued growth of the team through business development, networking, client relationship management and contributing to the wider strategic direction of the practice.
- A minimum of 5 years’ PQE as a Solicitor (in England and Wales) gained within a reputable employment practice.
- Strong technical expertise across a broad range of respondent employment matters.
- Experience advising clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment law issues.
- An interest in business development and networking or a following.
- Excellent career progression at a Top 50 law firm.
