Senior Site Engineer - Contract (External Works / QA Focus)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a well-established contractor on a busy project in the Hampshire area.
This role will suit an engineer who is confident working across quality assurance, as-built recording, and site coordination, rather than purely setting out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out quality checks and inspections across site activities
- Managing and producing as-built documentation
- Supporting general site management and coordination
- Ensuring work is completed in line with project specifications and standards
- Liaising effectively with site teams, subcontractors, and management
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer within construction environments / Setting out duties not required
- Background in projects external works, fit-out/ Building experience required - Ideally steel frame/ industrial unit experience.
- Strong experience with QA processes and reporting
- Excellent communication skills and team-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities across site
- Ability to order materials
