A leading environmental and ground engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Engineering Geologist to support its growing operations in Watford. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to join a busy team delivering a diverse range of residential, commercial, infrastructure, and redevelopment projects across the South East.

The role offers a strong mix of office, technical, and site-based responsibilities, with opportunities to take ownership of projects and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and supervising ground investigation works
• Carrying out site visits, logging, and sampling activities
• Producing geotechnical and geo-environmental reports
• Interpreting ground investigation data and providing technical advice
• Managing project delivery to programme and budget
• Assisting with client communication and technical meetings
• Supporting junior staff and reviewing technical work

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Engineering Geology, Geology, Geotechnics, or similar
• Previous experience within a ground engineering consultancy
• Strong understanding of site investigation techniques and reporting
• Confident working both independently and within a project team
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence
