Senior Engineering Geologist - Aberdeen
£40,000 - £50,000
We're looking for a Senior Engineering Geologist to join a well-established ground engineering team in Aberdeen, working across a mix of infrastructure, energy and development projects.
This role suits someone who's confident leading site investigations, managing ground risk, and mentoring junior staff, while still being hands-on technically.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing and managing ground investigations
- Logging soil and rock to a high standard
- Overseeing site works and subcontractors
- Interpreting ground conditions and producing factual and interpretive reports
- Contributing to foundation and geotechnical design
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Liaising with clients and project teams
What we're looking for:
- Experience in engineering geology or geotechnical ground investigation
- Strong logging and reporting skills
- Comfortable managing sites and dealing with clients
- Experience in the Scottish ground conditions is a bonus
- Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or similar
