Our client is a well-established, family-owned main contractor with nearly 30 years’ experience delivering construction, refurbishment, cladding, and building safety projects across the UK. They operate through multiple specialist divisions, offering a fully integrated, design & build service from concept through to completion and aftercare.
With a strong presence across London and the Southeast, they deliver projects across residential, education, healthcare, commercial, and leisure sectors, often within complex, live environments.

The Role
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Health & Safety Advisor / Manager to support multiple projects across Central London.
You will play a key role in driving health & safety performance across construction, demolition, and RC frame projects, ensuring compliance, best practice, and a positive safety culture on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and promote a strong health & safety culture across multiple sites
- Provide expert advice and guidance to operational teams and subcontractors
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with current HSE legislation and company policies
- Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Deliver toolbox talks, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with project teams on high-risk activities including demolition and RC frame works
- Engage with senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic H&S planning (Manager level)
Requirements
- Proven experience within construction, demolition, and RC frame projects
- Strong understanding of UK health & safety legislation
- Experience working on complex, fast-paced, live construction sites
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum) / Diploma (preferred for Manager level)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence and drive behavioural safety
