The Opportunity
We’re working with a leading engineering organisation seeking a talented professional to join their growing team, supporting the delivery of technically challenging projects within a highly regulated environment.
Working as part of a mechanical and piping team on an EPC project, including detailed design for modification to UK gas compressor units.

This position would suit individuals currently working as a Mechanical Engineer, Project Engineer, Design Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Engineering Consultant, Senior Technician, Project Coordinator, or Technical Engineer.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
- Deliver engineering solutions in line with project specifications, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive project progress and resolve technical challenges
- Review and contribute to technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and procedures
- Monitor project performance, supporting delivery against programme, cost, and quality targets
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle
- Proven experience in an engineering role within a regulated or highly technical environment
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, standards, and best practices
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent)
