Elevation Recruitment Group are partenered with a structural steel specialist to recruit an experienced Senior NDT Inspector to take ownership of all Non-Destructive Testing activities on shift. This is a key leadership role, acting as the primary technical authority for inspection, quality, and compliance.
The Role- Lead and coordinate all NDT activities during your shift
- Perform and oversee UT, MPI, PT, and VT inspections
- Interpret standards including BS EN ISO, AWS, and ASME
- Review and validate inspection reports for accuracy and traceability
- Support production and engineering teams with technical expertise
- Mentor junior inspectors and drive best practice
- Contribute to audits, investigations, and continuous improvement
- PCN Level 2 in MPI (essential)
- PCN UT certification (welds/forgings/castings preferred)
- CSWIP 3.0 or 3.1 Welding Inspector
- Strong knowledge of structural steel and weld inspection
- Able to read technical drawings and weld symbols
- Confident communicator with leadership capability
