The Role:
As a Senior Planner within the Sustainability team, you will support the delivery of Gatwick's sustainability and decarbonisation programme across a portfolio of major capital projects. Working on schemes typically valued at £20m+, you will develop and manage project schedules that support carbon reduction, energy efficiency, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
Projects may include boiler and chiller replacement programmes, mechanical and electrical upgrades, high-voltage infrastructure works, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, renewable energy projects, and water management schemes focused on recycling and reducing consumption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Support the delivery of sustainability, energy, and decarbonisation projects.
- Monitor programme performance, critical paths, risks, and recovery plans.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Support projects involving M&E asset replacement, energy infrastructure, water recycling, and EV charging networks.
- Provide planning expertise and promote best practice across the programme team.
- Proven experience as a Senior Planner on projects valued at £20m+.
- Strong Primavera P6 and MS Office skills.
- Experience within infrastructure, utilities, energy, sustainability, M&E, or capital project environments.
- Ability to manage complex programmes with multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of decarbonisation, energy efficiency, utilities, or asset replacement projects is highly desirable.
