Senior Production Supervisor

Our client manufactures commercial and industrial floor cleaning machines and is looking for an experienced Senior Production & Warehouse Supervisor to manage a team of 14 across assembly, production, warehouse and dispatch.

This role is responsible for production planning, assembly operations, stock control, warehouse management and on-time customer deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of 14 employees

• Plan and control daily production activities

• Ensure assembly targets, quality standards and delivery deadlines are achieved

• Allocate labour and resources to maximise productivity

• Ensure materials and components are available to support production schedules

• Monitor production output and resolve operational issues

• Manage goods-in, stock control, warehousing and dispatch

• Maintain accurate inventory records

• Ensure engineering drawings, assembly instructions and work procedures are followed

• Train and develop team members

• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality and efficiency

• Maintain health and safety standards throughout the operation

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment

• Good understanding of production planning and production control

• Experience managing assembly operations

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Experience managing people and workloads

• Good organisational and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of stock control and warehouse operations

• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential

Package

• £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
