About the Role

Senior Project Manager - BMS / Smart Buildings required for a major commercial office fit-out project in the City of London.

The Senior Project Manager - BMS / Smart Buildings will lead delivery of an integrated intelligent buildings package covering BMS, EMS and smart systems integration across a high-spec commercial environment. The Senior Project Manager - BMS / Smart Buildings will take ownership from preconstruction through installation, commissioning and final handover.

The Senior Project Manager - BMS / Smart Buildings role will suit someone with strong experience delivering technically led BMS and smart systems projects within fast-paced fit-out environments.

The project includes:

• Building Management Systems
• Energy Management Systems
• Smart building integration and analytics
• Tridium platform integration
• ABB Cylon FCU terminal controls
• HVAC controls and intelligent building functionality

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing project delivery from preconstruction to completion
• Coordinating installation, commissioning and handover activities
• Leading planners, engineers, software teams, commissioning teams and subcontractors
• Managing programme delivery and short-term look-ahead planning
• Maintaining project quality, compliance and health & safety standards
• Supporting commercial management alongside the Quantity Surveyor
• Managing client coordination and stakeholder communication
• Overseeing integrated testing and commissioning processes
• Driving project progress against demanding programme deadlines
• Managing live coordination with multiple trades on site
• Ensuring successful QA, witnessing and handover procedures

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Strong BMS project delivery experience
• Previous experience on commercial fit-out projects
• Good technical understanding of smart buildings and EMS integration
• Experience managing commissioning-heavy projects
• Strong programme and coordination skills
• Commercial awareness and contractual understanding
• Experience using MS Project or Asta Powerproject
• Confident leadership and communication skills
