A highly regarded property and construction consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its expanding Manchester team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded project management professional to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects across the commercial real estate sector. Working alongside an established leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering complex developments while contributing to the continued growth of the Manchester office and wider North West presence.
The role offers exposure to a varied project pipeline, including commercial office fit-outs, industrial and logistics developments, residential schemes, façade remediation programmes, laboratory environments, retail projects, and high-specification amenity space refurbishments.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring successful delivery against programme, budget, and quality objectives.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Leading project meetings and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
- Preparing project programmes, reports, procurement strategies, and tender documentation.
- Managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Monitoring project performance and providing regular updates to clients.
- Supporting business development activities and helping to strengthen existing client relationships.
- Identifying opportunities for repeat business and service expansion.
- Contributing to the development and mentoring of junior team members.
- Supporting the continued growth and success of the Manchester project management team.

Requirements
- Degree qualified in a construction, property, engineering, or project management-related discipline.
- Proven experience delivering projects within a consultancy or client-side environment.
- Strong experience across new-build, refurbishment, fit-out, and redevelopment projects.
- Knowledge of commercial, industrial, residential, or mixed-use sectors.
- Professional accreditation such as MRICS, MCIOB, APM, or working towards chartered status is desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the North West property and construction market would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence.
