  • Managing change control processes, including Compensation Events and variations
  • Producing, submitting, and agreeing monthly applications and valuations
  • Developing detailed cost plans, forecasts, and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR)
  • Monitoring subcontractor performance and managing commercial risk exposure
  • Issuing contractual notices to clients and supply chain partners as required
  • Liaising closely with operational and engineering teams to maintain accurate site records
  • Supporting progress, risk, and commercial review meetings with key stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects (highways, water, utilities, or similar)
  • Excellent working knowledge of standard forms of contract (NEC experience highly desirable)
  • Strong commercial awareness with proven negotiation and cost control capability
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing subcontract packages and change control processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and commercial systems (e.g. CEMAR, Oracle or similar)

  • Working towards or holding MCIOB / MRICS (desirable)
  • Valid CSCS card
