Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in the office
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Professional Quantity Surveying (PQS) team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to further develop their career within a supportive and collaborative consultancy environment.
The successful candidate will be involved in a diverse range of projects and will take responsibility for delivering both pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying services to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Pre-Contract Duties
- Preparation of cost plans and estimates at all project stages.
- Procurement advice and strategy development.
- Preparation of tender documentation and bills of quantities.
- Tender analysis and reporting.
- Value engineering and cost management advice.
- Risk assessment and cost planning support.
Post-Contract Duties
- Contract administration support.
- Valuation of works and interim payment assessments.
- Change control and variation management.
- Cost reporting and financial monitoring.
- Agreement of final accounts.
- Management of project budgets and forecasting.
Requirements
Essential
- Experience working within a Professional Quantity Surveying (PQS) consultancy environment.
- Demonstrable experience delivering both pre-contract and post-contract services.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement routes.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-standard cost management software.
Desirable
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Working towards, or keen to pursue, APC and chartered status.
- Membership of, or progress towards membership of, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
- Experience across a range of construction sectors.
