We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Service Advisor position within a reputable, family-run automotive service centre located in Guildford. This is a unique opportunity for a highly experienced automotive professional to join a busy and supportive workshop environment, delivering excellent customer service and managing workshop operations independently.
The role of Senior Service Advisor offers the chance to work within a well-established business that values staff development and career progression. Our client is seeking a motivated individual with a proven track record in the motor trade, capable of handling customer relationships and workshop workflow with efficiency and professionalism.

  • Competitive salary in the region of £38,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm working hours

Duties  of a Senior Service Advisor:
  • Mnaging workshop bookings and workflow independently to optimise efficiency
  • Providing accurate estimates for repair costs and completion times to customers
  • Advising customers on recommended work and scheduling services accordingly
  • Ordering parts, processing invoicing, and managing warranty claims
  • Maintaining professional relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
  • Ensuring the professionalism and tidiness of the reception area and workspace
  • Handling all customer interactions confidently and independently
  • Supporting workshop operations to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
Requirements of a Senior Service Advisor:
  • Significant experience as a Service Advisor or Senior Service Advisor within the motor trade
  • Ability to work confidently without direct supervision
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Good automotive knowledge with an understanding of workshop processes
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and professional approach
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
