Freelance Senior Site Engineer – Essex

We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Site Engineer to support a leading main contractor on a major industrial development in Essex. The project involves the construction of large-scale steel frame industrial units, offering a long-term contract running through to the end of the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for steel frame structures and associated groundworks
• Managing and overseeing QA procedures and documentation
• Maintaining accurate site records and completing all required paperwork
• Supporting site management with day-to-day engineering duties
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, specifications, and health & safety standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer on industrial or steel frame projects
• Strong setting out capabilities using relevant surveying equipment
• Solid understanding of QA processes and site documentation
• Experience working with main contractors
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

• Location: Essex
• Duration: Immediate start through to end of the year
