Senior Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join the delivery team on a major flagship education project in Bath valued in excess of £50m.

This is an opportunity to join a leading contractor on a complex and high-profile development, playing a critical role in the technical delivery of the scheme.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Setting out and engineering control across all construction phases
  • Managing QA processes and technical compliance
  • Reviewing drawings and identifying design issues
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and site management teams
  • Ensuring works are delivered to specification
  • Managing as-built records and site documentation
  • Supporting programme delivery and technical problem-solving
  • Assisting with health & safety compliance
Requirements

To be considered, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer
  • Experience working for Tier 1 contractors or on £50m+ schemes
  • Strong technical and setting out ability
  • Education sector experience desirable
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Proficient with surveying equipment and QA processes
  • Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree)
  • CSCS
