Freelance Senior Site Manager – Oxford

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Senior Site Manager to deliver two concurrent projects in Oxford, located in close proximity. Each project is valued at approximately £1.5m and requires strong leadership and organisational skills to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing both projects simultaneously
• Coordinating and managing subcontractors on site
• Chairing site meetings and ensuring clear communication across all teams
• Updating and managing the programme on a weekly/bi-weekly basis
• Reporting progress, risks, and site issues to the Contracts Manager
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager, ideally within fit-out projects
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Experience working with main contractors and subcontractor management
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates are essential
