Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join the team on a prestigious development comprising a major commercial office scheme and associated multi-storey car park.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will operate as the No.2 on site, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of works to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Project Manager in the successful delivery of the project.
• Managing subcontractors and direct labour on site.
• Driving health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Coordinating site activities to maintain programme milestones.
• Conducting site inspections, progress meetings and quality checks.
• Managing short-term programmes and resolving operational challenges.
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with design specifications and client expectations.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Senior Site Manager or Site Manager position with a recognised main contractor.
• Experience delivering large-scale commercial, mixed-use, office, or similar construction projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation and site management procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple work fronts and coordinate numerous subcontractors.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications essential.
