Senior Sous Chef (Head Chef Designate) | Sevenoaks | £41k-£44k OTE

Sous Chef required for a 2-Rosette destination restaurant near Sevenoaks. This is a strategic hire; the Executive Chef is looking for the chef to transition into the Head Chef role and run the kitchen team.

The Package

  • Base Salary: £37,000 - £40,000
  • Guaranteed Tronc: £4,000 + Additional Tips
  • Total OTE: £41,000 - £44,000

The Role

  • Direct path to Head Chef status within the venue.
  • Oversee daily operations in a high-volume, fine-dining kitchen.
  • Utilise Fresh produce grown onsite to maintain high standards.
  • Drive the kitchen toward accolades and sustainability awards.
  • Oversee team management, stock control, and menu execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in high-end or fine-dining kitchens.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team independently.
  • Ambition to take full ownership of a kitchen as a Head Chef.
  • Driving license required due to the rural location.
