Senior Sponsorship Sales Manager
Based in Hertford with Flexible/Hybrid working
Basic salary between £60,000 up to £70,000 depending on experience, plus uncapped OTE and excellent benefits and international travel.

About the role
They are seeking a commercially astute Senior Sponsorship Sales Manager with at least four years of sponsorship or event sales experience, including a strong track record of selling high-value packages to technology, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT vendors while consistently meeting and exceeding targets.

Ideal profile
The successful candidate will have experience managing enterprise-level deals worth £100k+ and a strong understanding of CIO, CISO, and wider C-suite audiences, along with the dynamics of senior executive engagement programmes.
Unlike more traditional event sales roles, this position offers the freedom to understand each client’s needs and shape the right solution from across the full portfolio. The approach is consultative, with a focus on building tailored commercial packages rather than selling from a standard template.

Duties
- Business Development and Account Growth: Drive new business development while expanding existing accounts across the technology and cybersecurity vendor landscape in the UK, Europe, and North America.
- Consultative Sales: Sell across the full portfolio using a consultative approach, creating bespoke multi-product packages aligned with each client’s commercial objectives.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior marketing, demand generation, and partnership decision-makers within technology companies.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and close.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the content, events, and delivery teams to ensure client expectations are consistently exceeded.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain accurate revenue forecasts, strong CRM hygiene, and clear pipeline reporting for senior leadership.
- Brand Representation: Represent the company at events and industry forums as a strong ambassador for the brand.
- Commercial Strategy: Contribute to the wider commercial strategy by bringing market intelligence and client insight back to the team.
