Senior Technical Coordinator

We are currently working with a well-established residential developer delivering high-quality, design-led housing schemes across Hampshire and the surrounding areas.

The business has built a strong reputation for delivering bespoke residential developments with a focus on quality, buildability, and technical excellence from planning through to completion. Their projects range from traditional housing developments through to more complex mixed-tenure and design-focused schemes.

Due to a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Technical Coordinator to support the delivery of multiple residential developments across the region.

This is a hands-on technical role managing the coordination of drawings, consultants, technical approvals, and design information throughout the lifecycle of residential developments.

Projects typically range from 20 – 150+ unit schemes, including traditional housing, apartments, and mixed-tenure developments.

Candidates must have residential housebuilding experience working for a developer or residential contractor to be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage external consultants including Architectural, Structural, Civil and M&E teams
• Manage the production and review of working drawings and technical information
• Ensure information is coordinated and issued in line with programme requirements
• Support developments from planning handover through to completion and adoption
• Discharge planning conditions and manage Building Regulation approvals
• Coordinate utilities, drainage, roads and infrastructure information
• Manage RFIs, technical queries, design changes and drawing revisions
• Attend and lead technical and site meetings where required
• Liaise with Construction, Commercial, Sales and Land teams throughout the development process
• Ensure compliance with NHBC, Building Regulations and warranty provider requirements
• Monitor consultant performance and track technical progress against key milestones
• Support value engineering and buildability reviews during pre-construction and live phases

Tickets / Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree in Construction, Architectural Technology or similar
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and technical coordination
• Good knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC and residential design standards
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple live projects

Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Technical Coordinator or Senior Technical Coordinator within residential housebuilding
• MUST have experience working on residential developments for a developer or main contractor
• Strong understanding of residential technical delivery from planning through to completion
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams
• Knowledge of planning conditions, Building Control and technical approvals
• Experience managing drawing packages and construction information
• Exposure to roads, drainage and utility coordination desirable
• Comfortable supporting live sites and resolving technical queries during construction
• Experience working alongside Land, Planning, Commercial and Construction teams
