I'm currently working with a respected independent planning consultancy based in Winchester that is looking to appoint a Senior Planner to join their growing team.
This opportunity would suit someone with around 3-7 years' experience, ideally gained within a planning consultancy environment, who is looking for a genuinely balanced and people-focused business.
The Role
The consultancy is looking for:
·A Planner with approximately 3-7 years' experience
·Strong consultancy background preferred
·Someone confident managing projects and clients
·A motivated and personable individual who enjoys working as part of a small collaborative team
·Ideally someone with an interest or background in design, urban design, and/or AI-related skills within the planning sector
This is a full-time role with a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days per week in the Winchester office.
About the Consultancy
This is a well-established independent consultancy. The culture is refreshingly grounded, supportive, and built around trust rather than pressure.
This is not the type of consultancy where staff are expected to socialise constantly outside work or work excessive hours. The team all have lives outside the office and value maintaining a healthy balance.
Dogs are regularly in the office, so candidates must be comfortable working in a dog-friendly environment.

·Strong Associate-level candidates could command salaries towards the £50,000 mark
