Our client, a reputable and well-established independent garage in Newark, is seeking a Skilled Senior Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced technician to work in a friendly, family-run environment known for its stability and high standards. The successful Senior Vehicle Technician will have the chance to handle a varied workload, including complex repairs and diagnostics, within a supportive workshop setting.

Dutie of the Senior Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Execute heavy mechanical repairs such as clutch replacements, cambelts, and engine work
  • Perform accurate fault diagnosis using advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Fault find efficiently and carry out necessary repairs
  • Ensure all work is completed to high standards and within specified times as a Senior Vehicle Technician
  • Maintain accurate workshop records and complete job cards diligently
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure workshop efficiency
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance is preferred; Level 2 qualification with substantial experience will also be considered
  • Solid diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Proven experience with heavy mechanical repairs, including clutches and cambelts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Reliable, motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship
