Our client, a reputable and well-established independent garage situated in the Ystrad Mynach area, is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshops.   • Stable weekday schedule, Monday to Friday, 8:15am-5:15pm
Duties of the Senior Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct vehicle servicing and routine repairs in accordance with client standards
  • Handle larger repair tasks such as engine rebuilds, diagnostics, and complex maintenance operations
  • Diagnose faults accurately and report findings to the Workshop Manager
  • Ensure compliance with quality procedures and safety standards
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship in a busy, franchise-approved environment
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians where necessary
  • Contribute to team targets and uphold customer satisfaction as a Senior Vehicle Technician
Requirements of the Senior Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification as a Vehicle Technician
  • Previous experience as a Senior or Master Technician, ideally with expertise in premium brands such as JLR, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, or VAG
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills with the ability to complete all workshop duties independently
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Excellent team player with a dedicated and professional attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment, maintaining high-quality standards
