Are you an experienced Service Advisor seeking a new opportunity within a respected dealership? Our client, a premium franchise-approved car dealership located in North Bristol, is looking for a dedicated Service Advisor to join their busy Service Department.   • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm, with an hour for lunch; one in three Saturdays mornings, 8:30am-12:30pm
Duties of a Service Advisor:
  • Greet customers and book their vehicles in for service and repairs, ensuring a seamless experience
  • Maintain regular communication with customers regarding vehicle progress
  • Liaise with the workshop to chase work in progress and ensure timely completion
  • Upsell additional products and services, including service plans and warranty options where applicable
  • Take payments and process customer invoices accurately
  • Build rapport with customers to promote trust and satisfaction
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are delivered at all times
  • Support the team in achieving departmental and business objectives
  • Experience with warranty procedures and authorisation is desirable but not essential
Requirements of a Service Advisor:
  • Minimum of two years’ recent experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the motor trade
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings efficiently
  • IT proficiency; experience with Kerridge, Keyloop, or similar DMS is advantageous
  • Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures is beneficial but not essential
  • Passion for the automotive industry and a keen interest in representing a reputable manufacturer
