Our client, a well-established main dealer based in Eastbourne, East Sussex, is actively looking to recruit a professional Service Advisor to join their busy service department. Duties of the Service Advisor:
  • Greet customers and manage vehicle drop-offs and collections efficiently
  • Accurately record customer requests and vehicle details
  • Communicate effectively with workshop teams regarding job requirements
  • Keep customers informed on vehicle status throughout the day
  • Obtain authorisation for additional work and produce detailed estimates
  • Prepare and present customer invoices and related paperwork
  • Explain repair work and recommend additional services such as service plans and warranties
  • Upsell relevant products and services to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to promote repeat business
Requirements for the Service Advisor:
  • Proven experience working as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry
  • IT literate; familiarity with DMS systems such as Pinnacle DMS is preferred but not essential
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Skilled in upselling and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple customer appointments efficiently
  • Full UK driving licence, preferably with a clean record
