Are you an experienced Vehicle Service Advisor seeking a new challenge with a reputable dealership? Our client, a well-established franchise-approved car dealership in Cheltenham, is looking to recruit a professional and customer-focused Vehicle Service Advisor. - Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm, with a 1 in 2 Saturday roster, 8:30am - 12:30pm
- Greet customers in the Service Department and provide an excellent customer experience
- Liaise with the workshop team to chase work in progress and update customers on their vehicle status
- Schedule vehicle services, maintenance, and repairs efficiently
- Upsell additional products and services where appropriate
- Arrange courtesy vehicles when applicable
- Liaise with manufacturers regarding warranty authorisations and warranty procedures
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and vehicle history
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication and professional service
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or a similar customer service role within the automotive industry
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively
- IT literacy, ideally with experience using Kerridge, ADP, or similar dealership management systems
- Full UK driving licence with minimal points
- Organisational skills to manage scheduling efficiently
- Knowledge of warranty procedures is advantageous, though not essential
- Ability to work well within a team and deliver exceptional customer service
