Our client is looking to appoint a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join their well-established team in Poole. Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary of £35,000 per annum
  • On-target earnings of up to £45,000, including a strong monthly bonus scheme

  • Standard working hours from Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday morning

Duties of a Service Advisor:
  • Greeting customers in a friendly, professional manner both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Preparing job cards and ensuring precise documentation of vehicle repairs and services
  • Advising customers on service plans, repairs, and maintenance options
  • Communicating effectively with the workshop to update customers on vehicle progress
  • Upselling additional services and parts where appropriate
  • Managing administrative tasks within the service department efficiently
  • Supporting the smooth operation of the service department to deliver excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor, Parts Advisor, or Service Administrator within the automotive industry is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair procedures and parts is advantageous
