The Opportunity
As a Service Coordinator, you will be at the centre of the service operation, ensuring engineers are effectively scheduled, customer requests are handled efficiently, and service activity runs smoothly.
You will play a key role in maintaining communication between customers, engineers, and internal departments, ensuring a high level of service delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling and coordinating field service engineers
- Managing incoming service requests and breakdown calls
- Prioritising workloads to ensure customer downtime is minimised
- Liaising with customers to provide updates on engineer attendance and job progress
- Raising and processing job cards, service reports, and internal documentation
- Supporting engineers with parts and job requirements
- Maintaining accurate records on internal systems
- Assisting with invoicing, service administration, and job completion paperwork
- Communicating effectively with internal departments including parts and sales
- Ensuring all service activities are recorded accurately and efficiently
- Previous experience in a coordination, scheduling, service administration, or similar role is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
- Computer literate and comfortable working with systems and databases
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy in administrative work
- Team player with a proactive and customer-focused approach
- Eager to learn and develop within a structured environment
- £28,000 basic salary
