Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a proactive and resilient Service Coordinator to join a fast‑paced service delivery environment, supporting the effective coordination of cleaning operations across Banking and O&P sectors.

This role is suited to someone who can hit the ground running, manage a high volume of requests, and remain focused on ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met in a demanding operational setting.

Job Overview

Working within a small, experienced team, the Service Coordinator plays a key role in supporting day‑to‑day service delivery and reducing operational risk. The role involves coordinating reactive and planned works, managing client queries, and ensuring effective communication between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.

The successful candidate will be confident working under pressure, capable of prioritising competing demands, and comfortable handling a high volume of emails and service requests. Clear communication, attention to detail, and ownership of tasks through to resolution are essential to maintaining service standards and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate and coordinate work across cleaning teams within the Banking and O&P sectors
  • Log, accept, and accurately route reactive service requests
  • Manage planned works, client queries, and Out of Office responses
  • Process and prioritise a high volume of emails (approximately 500–600 per day)
  • Allocate jobs appropriately to in‑house field cleaners or subcontractors
  • Provide clear and accurate updates to clients on actions taken and job progress
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries in line with agreed processes and SLAs
  • Take ownership of queries to ensure timely and effective resolution

Person Specification

  • Experience in a similar role managing tickets, queries, or high‑volume inboxes
  • Confident using systems and navigating computer‑based workflows
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Spreadsheet and Excel knowledge is beneficial
  • Experience gained through temporary or agency roles will be considered
  • Resilient and proactive approach to workload management
