Location: Sheffield
Temporary - potential to go permanent.
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join our clients Sheffield's branch on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and customer-focused individual to play a key role in supporting our service operations and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities as a Service Coordinator:

  • Handling reactive customer calls professionally and efficiently.
  • Scheduling maintenance work, breakdown call-outs, return visits, commissioning activities, and additional service requirements.
  • Ensuring the effective utilisation of service engineers.
  • Maintaining accurate service records and updating information on the service management system.
  • Processing engineer job sheets through Protean, from completion through to invoicing.
  • Responding to customer enquiries regarding work carried out on site.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records, contract profiles, and renewal correspondence.
  • Coordinating compressor spares and parts to support scheduled service work and repairs.
  • Working closely with the Service Manager to identify and implement operational improvements.
  • Providing day-to-day support to engineers.
  • Assisting the Service Manager with the development and implementation of Personal Development Plans (PDPs).

Skills & Experience Required as Service Coordinator

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient IT skills and confidence using service management systems.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.
