Service Manager

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Service Manager to join a successful branch, delivering exceptional service standards while supporting and motivating a skilled team of technicians.
The Role
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Service Department. This includes managing staff, maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving departmental performance.
You will ensure technicians are fully supported, customer expectations are exceeded, and operational targets are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Service Department
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of technicians
- Manage customer relationships professionally and effectively
- Monitor performance against KPIs and financial targets
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty processes
- Maintain high standards of service delivery and efficiency
- Strong background in agricultural machinery (tractors, combines, and other farm equipment)
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Proven ability to lead and develop a technical team
- Solid understanding of KPIs, profit & loss, and warranty systems
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently
