Day Shift | Monday - Friday | 8am - 4pm | Onsite role, not field based
Jackson Hogg are delighted to be exclusively supporting our client with the appointment of a Service Technician to join them on a permanent basis. This is a day shift position based in Darlington, not a field-based position.
This role will be responsible for the assembly, testing, delivery, commissioning, installation and repair of products.This includes supporting the completion of all required production documentation, such as job cards, checklists, inspection reports, and FAT reports.
Job Description
- Assist with fault-finding and detailed service reporting when conducting service work
- Mechanical Maintenance activities across the site
- Identifying areas for continuous improvement
- Mainteance of workshop equipment, tools and environment
- Assist with assembly of complex structural products and technical drawings
Skills Required
- Time served
- Experience within a Maintenance or a Fitter/Turner role
- Mechanical bias
- Machining skills would be beneficial, such as lathe turning, milling, and electrical hand tools
