Setting Out Engineer - Bangor

Approach Personnel are currently seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to support a live construction project on a care centre development in Bangor, North Wales.

The successful candidate will initially be required for one day to set out the positions for a king post wall installation, with work ideally commencing on 17th June 2026. Following this, there will be a requirement for approximately 10 additional days of attendance to support the ongoing installation works.

Responsibilities

• Setting out king post wall positions in accordance with project drawings and specifications
• Ensuring all setting out is accurate and completed to the required tolerances
• Liaising with the site team to ensure works are delivered efficiently
• Providing technical support and resolving any setting out issues on site
• Maintaining accurate records of setting out activities

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Setting Out Engineer on construction or civil engineering projects
• Proficient in the use of surveying and setting out equipment
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Valid CSCS card (desirable)
• Own equipment preferred (please advise availability)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
