Setting Out Engineer

We’re currently seeking 2 experienced Setting Out Engineers / Site Engineers to join one of Europe’s largest construction projects, based in Germany. This is a long-term opportunity, with an estimated project duration of 18–24 months.

Successful candidates will be interviewed immediately. The role will involve a combination of earthworks and reinforced concrete (RC) works.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate setting out and surveying on site
• Perform quality control checks and maintain build records
• Assist with estimating concrete requirements
• Support the wider site team as required

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A valid CSCS card
• Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer, Site Engineer, or Engineering Surveyor
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in RC works and groundworks
• Proficiency with Leica TS16 (or similar equipment)
• Familiarity with method statements, risk assessments, QA procedures, and site documentation
• A valid EU passport/ID or the right to work in the EU
• Note: This role is also suitable for Irish nationals
