We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join a busy and growing manufacturing team based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking to secure a long-term position with a well-established company.
Responsibilities:
- Operating industrial sewing machines to manufacture high-quality curtains and textile products
- Reading and following work instructions and specifications
- Measuring, cutting and preparing materials for production
- Ensuring all products meet quality standards
- Carrying out routine machine checks and basic maintenance
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous sewing machine experience is essential
- Experience using industrial sewing machines preferred
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
