Continental Shift Pattern (Days & Nights, 7–7)
We are currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical bias) to join a leading building services provider, working on a high-end corporate/critical site in King’s Cross.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a modern 10-storey building, maintaining critical systems in a fast-paced and technically demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Fault finding on electrical or mechanical systems
- Maintaining critical plant and ensuring maximum uptime
- Working on HVAC, BMS, power, lighting and associated plant
- Supporting subcontractors and specialist engineers
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
Shift Pattern
- Continental shift pattern (days & nights)
- 7am–7pm / 7pm–7am
- Rotation: 4 on / 3 off / 6 on
- 20 shifts annual leave

- £50,000 basic salary

Requirements:
- Electrical or Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
- Experience within commercial or critical environments (e.g. corporate offices, data centres, banking)
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
- Good knowledge of building services systems
- Ability to work effectively within a shift team
