We are currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical bias) to join a leading building services provider, working on a high-end corporate/critical site in King’s Cross.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a modern 10-storey building, maintaining critical systems in a fast-paced and technically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
• Fault finding on electrical or mechanical systems
• Maintaining critical plant and ensuring maximum uptime
• Working on HVAC, BMS, power, lighting and associated plant
• Supporting subcontractors and specialist engineers
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards

Shift Pattern

• Continental shift pattern (days & nights)
• 7am–7pm / 7pm–7am
• Rotation: 4 on / 3 off / 6 on
• 20 shifts annual leave

• £50,000 basic salary

Requirements:

• Electrical or Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
• Experience within commercial or critical environments (e.g. corporate offices, data centres, banking)
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
• Good knowledge of building services systems
• Ability to work effectively within a shift team
