Shift Team Leader - Rotating Day/Night

Engage Recruitment are working with a well-regarded, stable and successful business manufacturer based in Glasgow to recuit 2 Shift Team Leaders.   The roles are 39 hour weeks rotating day and night shift and available for an immediate start.   

The Role:

This role involves assisting Supervisors in ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement activities across the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out production duties as required.
• Support Supervisors with job allocation and daily operations.
• Organise workstations, tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Ensure products are assembled and packed correctly to specifications.
• Train and support operators.
• Monitor quality and investigate issues, implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and drive improvements.
• Manage component stock and highlight discrepancies.
• Assist with documentation and assembly instructions.

What we are looking for:  

• Ideally experience in a manufacturing / assembly environment, although we would also consider retail experience. 
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience is required.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to support and train team members.
