Known for delivering technically challenging schemes to a high standard, the company has built long-standing client relationships through its collaborative approach, excellent safety record, and quality-focused delivery model. Thanks to a strong order book and secured pipeline of upcoming works, they are now seeking an experienced Site Agent to strengthen their team in Exeter.

The Role

As Site Agent, you’ll take ownership of live civil engineering projects from site level, ensuring programmes are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams, you’ll play a key role in driving performance on site while maintaining exceptional standards across quality, safety, and programme management.

Key duties will include:
  • Chairing and attending client and progress meetings
  • Coordinating and managing subcontractor activities
  • Leading, mentoring, and supporting operational site teams
  • Producing short-term programmes and look-ahead plans
  • Reviewing and approving RAMS documentation
  • Interpreting technical drawings and engineering specifications
  • Monitoring quality assurance and health & safety standards
  • Ensuring company procedures and project requirements are followed throughout delivery
The Candidate We’re looking to speak with proactive and experienced Site Agents who have a strong background within civil engineering infrastructure projects.
You’ll ideally possess:
  • A Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience working with a civil engineering main contractor
  • Proven delivery experience across highways, infrastructure, or structures schemes
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • A quality-driven mindset with a strong focus on safety and compliance
