Site Engineer

Site Engineer – Groundworks | Coventry | £300–£350/day 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a well-established groundworks subcontractor delivering large-scale commercial construction projects in Coventry.

This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in a major scheme with a busy contractor that has a strong pipeline of ongoing work.

The Role:

• Setting out for groundworks packages including foundations, drainage (deep & shallow), and external works
• Working from technical drawings and ensuring accuracy on site
• Completing as-built surveys and maintaining site records
• Carrying out QA checks and ensuring compliance with specifications
• Liaising with site management and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery
• Supporting the project to meet programme deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer within groundworks
• Strong setting out skills (GPS / Total Station)
• Experience on large commercial projects preferred
• Good understanding of QA processes and site documentation
• Valid CSCS card (essential)
• Own kit not required
