Site Engineer – Water Projects
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Contract - £400 - £450 Per Day - PAYE/Umbrella

The Role:
Carmichael UK are looking for a proactive Site Engineer with water project experience to join a busy team in Abingdon. You will be responsible for supervising on-site works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare and maintain site records and reports.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a site engineer in water or civil engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and water infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Relevant engineering qualification (BEng/MEng or HNC/HND).
