Site Engineer

Site Engineer required for 8 weeks on car park project in York. Site Engineer will be required to set out for drainage, utilities and kerbing. Sub-base to be determined by GPS / Machine Control. The project is a small car park annexed to a Railway station. Site Engineer will preferably supply own kit and will have laptop and CAD package. 

Site Engineer role:
• Setting out and quality checks / levels / use of GPS / Machine Control 
• Establish primary and secondary dimensional control
• Check and record control points
• Complete Permit to Load/Strike
• Requisition materials and obtain approvals
• Supervise concrete deliveries inc pre and post-pour Inspections
• Maintain site diary inc maintaining good housekeeping on site
• Implement the Project Management Plan, engineering procedures and practices
• Ensure that appropriate quality records are being produced
• Understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Compilation of as-built drawings and create construction drawings for information
• Experience with AutoCad and Total Station
• Working out cut and fill quantities.
• Managing subcontractors, Cut and Fill / Ashpalt - inc checking levels

 Site Engineer MUST be able to provide two recent references.
