Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor on a short-term project commencing tomorrow. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive engineer to support site operations on a fast-paced construction project for an initial three-week contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
• Ensuring all works are delivered to the required quality standards.
• Managing and maintaining accurate site records.
• Producing and reviewing as-built information.
• Supporting subcontractors and site management teams.
• Conducting quality inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Assisting with site documentation, permits, and progress reporting.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering and/or construction projects.
• Competent in the use of surveying equipment including GPS and robotic total stations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• CSCS card (essential).
• SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
