Site Engineer

Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major marine sheet piling project. 

The works involve marine sheet piling installation, cofferdam construction, quay wall strengthening, and associated heavy civils works across a long-term programme of marine infrastructure projects.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day engineering activities on site
• Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, programme, and quality standards
• Carry out setting out and surveying duties for marine and heavy civils works
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health & safety and environmental requirements
• Maintain accurate site records, QA documentation, and progress reports

Site Engineer Requirements:

• Proven experience working on marine civils, sheet piling, or waterfront infrastructure projects
• Strong background in heavy civils, marine construction, or port infrastructure environments
• Competent in setting out and surveying using modern equipment
• CSCS card required
• SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial
